Dirk Nowitzki does not intend to retire even after the age of 40. The German basketball player has claimed that he would like to appear in the next NBA season as well.
The player has been playing for the Dallas Mavericks squad for twenty years, in fact since the distant year of 1998.
In this form, he will break the record of retired Kobe Bryant, who stopped at twenty years of NBA appearances.
“I want to play next season in the NBA,” said Dirk Nowitzki, who will celebrate the 40th birthday on June 19th.
