Zalgiris Kaunas squad has gain a ticket to the Euroleague playoff quarterfinals, being the last team qualified to play off.
The Lithuanians have not played yet in the 29th round of the Euroleague but benefited from the defeat of Maccabi Tel Aviv rivals to advance to the quarterfinals. Maccabi was defeated 83-72 by Baskonia Gasteiz, home-dominated match, which won thanks to 14 points in Voigtmann.
Victory for statistics was played by Armani Milano’s team, who defeated 83-78 Brose Bamberg in the latter’s field (Micov 14 points) after both teams were eliminated from the playoff competition. Outside of the field is also won Fenerbahce champion squad, who beat 73-64 Khimki Moscow, a confrontation between two contending and qualified teams further (Wanamaker scored 14 points). While Barcelona won 107-83 in the area of Anadolu Efes, two teams eliminated, with Heurtel making the difference in parquet, the author of 20 points./Flashsport24
