Budućnost vs Mornar

Recap

Budućnost made massive changes in transfer window as expected. Coach Brnović in later stages of first part of the season told the media that something needs to be done to shake up locker room so they brought ten players with seven out. Miloš Krkotić, ex Montenegro national team player is biggest reinforcement with experience and ability to assist and score. Two ex Budućnost players, forward Vujačić came from Petrovac and Raičković from Malaysia, will be also important for this new team because of experience and quality. Young right back and U21 Montenegro Periša Pešukić came from Rudar and he will try to fill the hole after Đurišić went to Iskra. Other players have to prove they are good enough to be in first team and carry Budućnost to tittle. Brnović has opportunity to shape the squad through another match after training camp, because they are huge favorites vs Mornar who has real problems with finances and roster. Match against Mornar will probably be just audition for players that will start vs Titograd for the weekend derby.

Mornar had just nine points in 19 matches in first part of the season and only question in could they get same amount of points in second half. They changed coach Milojević after public dispute with board, brought in ex Montenegro women coach Hadžiosmanović who left three days later because players went on strike. Finances are still problem, Football Association will help club to finish this season just for regularity, but it is fair to say they will be dead last in the end. They will also play home games in neutral grounds just as in first half so Mornar players will try to play for themselves and contracts with other teams for next season.
