Cukaricki vs Zemun

Cukaricki vs Zemun

Recap

Home team will enter in new season with new coach, their former coach Nenada Lalatovic has resigned and new coach of Cukaricki is mister Simo Krunic who will this be the second time to lead the team (after one season in 2009/2010). New coach will continue to play in the same formation like they have been playing in last season, so they will go out in 4-2-3-1 formation. Cukaricki has released two rotation players, midfielder Milojevic and striker Fofana (both moved to Vojvodina) and their first team midfielder Kajevic has run out of his contract but the board is keen to sign new contract with him as he is important player for the team. Also reserve goalkeeper Kirovski and rotation center back Lagator have moved from the club. They have signed goalkeeper Stevanovic from Partizan, and this is going to be his second spell in Cukaricki, and young midfielder Birmancevic (from Partizan too) and these two players will be on loan in this season. They have also signed couple players from their academy but they are not going to be important players. Coach Simo Krunic will have couple of injured and unfit players as midfielder Zoric (broken finger), and center backs Puskaric and Djuric had some small injuries and they are not sure for the game vs Zemun.

On the opposite side, team Zemun has not been so active in this transfer period. The first team players who have left the club are experienced striker Djenic (moved to Spartak) and winger Lasickas has returned to Zalgiris (Lithuania). In Zemun arrived right winger Kukulicic (from Iskra, Montenegro), center back Rogac (from Indjija, First league) and young striker Miovski (from Rabotnicki, Macedonia). They will start new season with their old coach, Milan Milanovic who will continue to use old 4-2-3-1 formation.  They will need some new blood if they want to remain in the super league, that’s my opinion.

The game will be played at Cukaricki stadium, capacity 4000 places which is often half empty due to the weak fan base. The pitch is in good condition. In previous season, these teams played twice and in every match home team has won, Cukaricki 4:1 and at Zemun’s stadium home team has won 2:0. Cukaricki is one of the most serious clubs in Serbia with stabile finances and their goal in next season is to be in top 4 clubs in Serbia, while Zemun will try to avoid relegation.
