Old Dominion took a run at the top of the ninth hit to tie a tie and beat the FIU at Infinity Insurance Park after Sunday’s 4-4, Sunday.
Monarchs (9-13, 2-4 Conference USA), Panthers (12-14, 3-3 C-USA) saved a game of three games series.
ODU’s Tommy Bell and Devon Adams started ninth with consecutive singles of FIU relaxing Greyson Fletcher (0-1). Bell came in to keep a 3-3 draw.
FIU relieved first-class left-hander Will Saxton Fletcher and shot him to keep a one-on-one open.
