ODU’s Tommy Bell and Devon Adams started ninth with consecutive singles of FIU relaxing Greyson Fletcher (0-1). Bell came in to keep a 3-3 draw.

FIU relieved first-class left-hander Will Saxton Fletcher and shot him to keep a one-on-one open.

But the Panthers were set by Isaya Nelson, recording his second salvation at the end of the ninth century.

The FIU was looking for a 3-1 hitch to score the score below the eighth.

Seventh place, three straight hits by Christian Khawam, Lorenzo Hampton and Adan Fernandez, brought the Panthers in a run. Fernandez double-dipped Khawam.
