Jorginho has set a new record for attempted passes in a Premier League match during Chelsea’s 0-0 draw with West Ham.

The Italian representative has become a key player at Chelsea since transferring from Naples, and once again dictated the pace of the game at London Stadium.

Jorginho has attempted 180 total passes to the Hammers, more than any major English champion since Opta began to register in 2003.

90% of his passes have found a teammate, as the second best player was Rudiger, with 86 attempts.

It is not the first time this season that Jorginho’s passes draw attention, as in the 2-1 win over Newcastle he had made more passes than all Magpies players.
