Wilder had a hard fight by dropping some points in the opening rounds. But the Cuban didn’t take profit from his early advantage and struggled later. The American managed to win this with a KO.

Tyson Fury said in Instagram – “It was a great fight to say the least — well worth staying up for. There’s no doubt in my mind that I can beat Deontay Wilder. Everything about him, makes it easy for me. I once made a promise to him that I’d knock him out any time, any place, anywhere. And after last night, I already know, that is 100% true. If he ever fights me, I’ll knock him out.”

If Anthony Joshua beats Joseph Parker, it is expected to face Wilder.

Wilder said after the fight: “I’m ready right now. I always said that I want to unify. I’m ready whenever those guys are. I am the baddest man on the planet and I proved that tonight. This solidified my position at the top of the food chain tonight. Soon there will be one champion, one face, one name – that will be Deontay Wilder. It’s not about how big your muscles are – it’s about the heart. I don’t care about popularity or who has the most money. I want to know who is the best in the world – I want to make the sport about ‘who is the best’. And tonight I did that”
