Lewis Hamilton starts where he left. The British 4 times world champion led the first free-run sessions at the Australian Grand Prix, the first race of the season.
The British was irresistible at the first session that closed more than half a second faster than his team mate, Valtteri Bottas. The third in this session was Dutchman Max Verstappen.
In the second session, the British was again quicker, but looked closer to other rivals. Hamilton was only 0.127 faster than Verstappen. Vettel set the best third time in this session, with 0.283 slower than Hamilton.
Bottas and Raikkonen shared the fourth and fifth places.
