After winning 2-0 against Huddersfield Town, Mourinho has often criticized United fans for creating a quiet atmosphere at the stadium without supporting the team. He called Old Trafford “a quiet stadium”.

Man United in the next eight days has to play 3 important matches, with Liverpool in the Premier League with Sevilla in Champions League and Brighton in FA Cup

The special one has asked fans to repeat on Saturday night the atmosphere created in  Selhurst Park in victory 3-2 against Crystal Palace

“I think [Liverpool and United] both want to finish top four but we both want to finish second, so I think it is a big game, and then Seville knockout and Brighton knockout so we have three matches at Old Trafford,” told Mourinho for MUTV.

“If possible, we should give some tickets to the United fans that were at Selhurst Park.”

Mourinho made a similar plea to United fans ahead of Liverpool’s 1-1 draw at Old Trafford last season.

The Portuguese coach told supporters, “Don’t come to the theatre. Come to play, play with us.”
