Last summer Salah left Roma to join Liverpool. Since than he had an immediate impact at the supporters by becoming their favorite. By scoring a total of 32 goals in 39 matches he has won the hearts of the Liverpool fans which also sing songs to him at Anfield.

Ian Rush, the all-time leading goalscorer of Liverpool, is certain that if Salah stays for long in Anfield he will be named alongside the other Liverpool legends

“To become a Liverpool legend, you must play here for several years,” Rush said. “Mohamed Salah has done a fantastic job so far. The fans love him. Fernando Torres and Luis Suarez were outstanding players too. They did not become legends because they left the club after a relatively short period. It’s different with Mo Salah. I don’t think that he will only be at Liverpool for a short spell. If he fulfills his contract, he will become a legend.”

Ian also said some good word for the current Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, saying that in addition to the positive energy transferred to the fans he has also brought a fantastic team spirit to Anfield.
