Mauricio Pochettino has asked his players to give the maximum against Juventus in the second match of the last 16 round in the Champions League, continuing on what they started in Turin and continuing on the competition.

There are much more chances for Spurs after the 2-2 draw in Italy.

Spurs has been in the quaterfinals of the 2010/2011 season, while Juventus only in the last three seasons has been in the 2 finals.

“It’s been step by step, a little step every season,” said Pochettino. “You can see the team is more mature. We are going to enjoy tomorrow.

“We know very well we are playing one of the best teams in Europe but we are a brave team and we are very positive people.

“We need to think that we can win, we always think in this way. If we are able to play in the way we normally do then we will be close to winning.

“After the group stage we improved our reputation in Europe. Last season was a massive disappointment to be out in the first stage, but this year of course the people in Europe start to respect Tottenham.”

Both sides are on long unbeaten runs, with Spurs not having tasted defeat since December 16 and Juventus last losing a game on November 19.

Juve have recorded three successive 1-0 wins after the 2-2 draw in the first leg while Spurs have won three of their four games.
