Stephen Curry out for the next 2 games due to a sprained ankle

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry tweaked his bad ankle in the first quarter on Thursday against San Antonio Spurs and couldn’t continue to play the rest of the match.

His right ankle it’s said to be reevaluated on Tuesday and the team is hoping for a good news.

A Curry-less Warriors team faced 2 looses in their last 2 games: on Sunday’s 109-103 loss to the Timberwolves and on Friday against the Blazers with the result 125-108.

After missing in December with a right ankle sprain, Curry got again injured in the same place just after about 2 minutes of game in the match against the San Antonio Spurs. After winning a foul he seemed to have stepped on Dejounte Marray’s foot just near the basket.
It doesn’t seem to be a serious injury, but it’s the fourth time he has rolled the same ankle since December.

Curry is averaging 26.8 points, 6.3 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game this season.
