McLaren’s problems don’t seem to have an end

After the problems in the opening test, the British team’s car seemed to have more problems in Barcelona on Tuesday.

A part of the fault could have been Renault’s, with Red Bull also suffering from a battery problem.

Renault’s Bob Bell argued that this was a normal process since during the testing the batteries would be selected and the best one would be used for the season.

When asked whether the Renault problems with the battery at McLaren and Red Bull were a worry, Carlos Sainz admitted that anything that was related to the Renault engine was a primary concern for them and that they would deal with it.

The Australian Grand Prix on March 25 will be the official start of the season.
