Joachim Low has made his selection and now the list of 23 players in Germany for “Russia 2018” is official.

The German Football Federation has published the full list, while thanking the four players left out of the list. The most prominent name is Sane’s, who has developed a good season at Manchester City, where the champion has been announced. However, Low did not suffice, which left him out.
“A great thanks to their efforts and commitment by Joachim Low for the four players who will not go to Russia: Bernd Leno, Jonathan Tah, Leroy Sane and Nils Petersen,” says the official German Football Federation website. For Sane there was a lot of criticism from fans who expected to be part of the national team in the world. The 22-year-old’s striker scored 10 goals in Manchester City last season, as he played in 32 games (27 as head). Sane’s absence in the list has suppressed the fans, and a good part of them disagree on the decision taken by Low. However, everything has become official and there is no turning back.
